God #atozchallenge

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

New International Version (NIV)

       "In the beginning God..." is a powerful opening to the story of God and the creation of the world in which we live.   Every page of the Holy Bible reveals aspects of God's character, but this book tells only a small part of the story of God.

        To describe God in one short blog post cannot be done.   We have the entirety of the Holy Bible that tells part of the story of God.    In the end God is still a mystery to us.  We cannot understand the ways of God or comprehend the enormity of God's omnipotent and omnipresent being.   God is so much bigger and more complex than we are.   Our knowledge is miniscule in comparison to all that can be known about God.

          So why struggle with who or what God is?   Isn't it better to accept and have faith?

          I'm baffled by the atheists who will go to great lengths to try to prove that something does not exist.  If it does not exist why spend the time trying to prove that it does not exist?   It seems like a bit of circular reasoning that has no conclusion.  It's a waste of time that philosophers and God haters have argued for centuries and still cannot come up with the convincing evidence that will turn believers against their Lord and Creator.

          The evidence of God's existence is all around me.  There is no way that I can look at our vast world and universe and say there was no Intelligent Design at work here.  By faith I will accept that God is there, has always been, and always will be.

          God stated it simply when he told Moses, "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14).  That is as much as we need to know.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Revelation 22:13

New International Version (NIV)

  1. Hi Arlee,
    A wonderful post about the God Almighty.
    Yes, the Bible says: "The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” Psalm 14:1 AND Psalm 53:1 so notice the word THE FOOLS! So no worry let them say: Let us praise the Almighty GOD. God Bless.

    Have a wonderful week of blogging ahead
