All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal.

Psalm 119:160
New International Version (NIV)

      Our current pastor keeps running people off with his sermons.  He must be doing something right. Nowadays people don't want to hear the Bible as it is meant to be, but how they would like it to be.

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
New King James Version (NKJV)

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
John 1:16-17
New Living Translation (NLT)

  1. Hello there.
    You know...many people don't realize the Bible can provide satisfying answers to life's big questions (Proverbs 2:1-5). It can help us deal with life today (Psalms 119:105) and it provides us with a hope for the future (Romans 15:4). So accurate is the Bible that it foretold the current conditions we are living in today in that people would fall away from Biblical truth by pursuing selfish interests, even choosing religions and human doctrines that fit their lifestyles without even considering their spiritual needs. Jesus was the greatest man and teacher that ever lived on earth and yet, he was tortured and killed for speaking the truth! People aren't even aware as to why he died and how his death can benefit them. There are those who think the Bible is out of date or simply a book of myths, but it contains counsel and fundamental principles that are as relevant and beneficial to us today as they were when the Bible was first written thousands of years ago. Perhaps you might like to consider these additional scriptures:-
    Matthew 6:3, 6, 8-9
    Mark 7:6-9, 13
    Ephesians 4:17-19
    Colossians 2:8
    2 Timothy 3:1-7, 13, 16-17

    Thanks for sharing.
