Grace

God, the Father watches us all everywhere.

If you feel like you're not good enough for God then you are right.  But God's made a provision for that.  You have an entry pass to Heaven and it's God's Grace.

You may think you are a good person and in many ways you may be, but you are also imperfect.  Flawed.  You are susceptible to sin and doing and thinking wrong things.   We all are.  If you deny that then you are prideful and that is sin.  It's easy to fail, but God has given us an opportunity to be winners in the end.

Believe in Him, accept Him, trust in Him, and live for Him and His Grace will cleanse you and purify you in His sight.   You can never do enough on your own to make things right when you face your final judgment.  Without Jesus Christ the things you have done may have been fine in Earthly terms, but they are essentially vanity in the end.

Why do you do good?   Is it to make yourself feel better?  Will it make you appear better to other people?  Look good on your resume or bio?   If the answers to these are "Yes" then you are working on temporal terms that feed into your own vain outlook of yourself.

However, if the good you do is the result of what you have received through God and the work you do is for God then you are producing the fruit that comes from the blessings of receiving God's Grace.

Grace is God's gift to those who accept Him and live for Him.  His Grace is amazing and the blessings of that grace awaits His children.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

John Newton (1725-1807)
